Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branch in cusat and it has NBA tier 1 accreditation. Cusat prepares us for real world because there are many clubs in this campus who travel throughout India and out of India for many competition these clubs gives us practical experience like build formula cars, rovers etc.The exam in cusat are though and it's hard to score very good marks in end sem exams

Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester.many companies visited the campus like tata engineering services,mrf,Hyundai and many more.higezt is 25 lpa and average is 6lpa.percentage of students placing are low because of tough exam.i plan to do master after graduation

Fee structure is based on merit.cuat has three merit system 1.state merit 2.all India merit 3.nri merit.state merit fees = 28000rs ,all India merit = 52000 , nri merit=75000. there are many government schemes for students with poor financial background.there are many enrolment in campus like national service scheme , department vise club.

Dishna is the annual tech fest of cusat along with many other fest like sargam where entire cusat comes together for various shows,dances.they are typically held during October and november.library in cusat AC lounges with variety of books and journals.many sports events are also there like kurukshetra,soe sports.there are many student run groups

Students are provided with beds , table, wardrobe.the menu is based on the day ,everyday food is different and taste is very good.the hostels are very cheap and registration is through cusat website.there are many pg around the campus for students who didn't get hostel

Admission process was based on cusat common admission test (CAT) which was held online. The admission process was based on cusat CAT rank. Eligibility for this exam was 50% in 12th boards. The exam details is available is cusat website. Students can also use reservation for getting a seat in soe and cusat hostel.for sc/sc students fees is much lower than other students..the cat exam will be throughout 3 days and in each day 2 shifts will be there.the exam is usually tests basic 11th and 12th portions.The only problem I faced during admison is that the admission process is very slow.
