Course Curriculum Overview

There are about 178 faculty members teaching in various departments. More than 2200 students are enrolled to various courses of study. There is a library, on the ground floor of the main building, which is equipped with modern facilities like a computerized catalog, digital copies of all the books, computerized maintenance of lending and receiving of books, a reading room and computers that allow students to search books online.

For internship no company came in our time.

Placement Experience

Placement is satisfactory particularly of main campus. But since this college belongs to Techno group which has around 10 colleges in W.B.U.T, mostly they conduct group campus placement for all their colleges.

College Events

Technical festival : One Robotics competition started in 2007 at state level, even outside state students participated and it was a success. They organize once a year culture festival once a year. Good singer comes for performance like K.K, Javed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this is one of known private college in Kolkata, local students can get loan from bank in name of college from banks but there is no such Scholarship/Loan arranged by college.

Campus Life

Gender ratio was 1:4 college atmosphere is ok, mostly West Bengal students will be there. Since college campus is very small one so no such outdoor games facility available. college labs are just OK. From 2007 they started to organize robotics competition at state level.But other than this no extracurricular activity.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility in college campus. They will arrange hostel for you owned by some other party. In year 2006-2010, average rent was Rs 4000 a month.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are off the charts, with 367 offers being made to 361 students in the recent edition. The student can seat for internshps offered by diffent companies that visit th campus in their pre-final year, while they are eligible to seat for the placements in their final year only. Apart from this there also other restrictions for seating in the placements like Cg should be above 8.5 and there should not have been any disciplinary charges against you, etc. The companies visiting the college also have their own preferences for selecting the students. In 2024-25 the highest CTC is nearly 2.5 crores p.a. offered to a student of CS branch. The EC department getting the most number of offers i.e. 73.
