To be true most of the faculties are good and they have better degree than us
The fees for this college is less when compared to others
The taste of the food is gradually increasing due to review system

The campus is only 27 acres which is very small

Course Curriculum Overview

I think our circulum is average since we are still getting teached c language but they said it will change for our junior batch which is 2024 batch and about the faculties I think there are both good and bad faculties and you will understand if you come to this college

Internships Opportunities

From what have I heard the opportunity for internship is very easy if you give half of what you given in jee it's easy to aquire an internship and if you do a good job there's a chance for getting placed there so good luck

I think the placement here is good because in our time the seniors got resesion and were not able to get good placement compared to last year but last year the placement was too good almost every person was getting a good placement so it's good

Fees and Financial Aid

I think when compared to other iiits the fees here is good since iiit sri city has 16 lacks for 4 Yeats and iiit bhubaneswar including everything hardly goes 12-13 lacks for 4 years but I think the fees in future is going increase so it's affordable for average person

Campus Life

I think no one will expect this but the campus life is mid and the campus is only 27 acres which is very small but cozy place and the food is alright when co to other colleges but still not good as home you will have options for food if you go out or oder online but the ADVAITA fest here is very good this time Arman Malik came to sing so ya its good

Admission

I have written jee mains to avail this college I got around thirty two thousand rank in general Catogory and got the IT branch in sixth round and got CSE in the csab round 2 the final cut off for CSE branch was around 33000 after that I came to the college and went through admission process which was easy and simple and then we were allotted hostel rooms on the basis of lottery system this is my college review

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . A Decent Experience

I chose IIIT Bhubaneswar over the other college I applied to, which was KIIT, mainly because IIIT Bhubaneswar felt like a better fit for my long-term goals in terms of coding culture, academic seriousness, and overall brand value as a government-backed technical institute. Even though I got admission in KIIT, I preferred IIIT because the peer group here is more focused on programming, internships, and placements, and the environment pushes me to stay consistent and improve my skills. Also, when I compared both colleges, KIIT has a bigger and more happening campus life, but IIIT Bhubaneswar feels more career-driven and closer to the kind of tech exposure I wanted. I got admission into IIIT Bhubaneswar through the Odisha category, where the selection is done based on eligibility and merit as per the counselling process, and the overall admission experience was smooth for me. The basic eligibility was passing 12th with Physics and Mathematics, and the admission process mainly involved counselling, document verification, and fee payment, after which the final seat confirmation was done. All about IIIT Bhubaneswar

The admission process of not very complex .Admission are granted on basis of Jee Main ranks and 50 percent are resevered for odisha students.The admission ardone through jossa and csab counselling and details are provided on their website.Cse course was eligible for candidates who secured around 97 to 96 percentile in jee mains for other state .I am not sure about home state .You have to pay a fees to lock your seat in college which will be adjusted in your college fees .after locking seat further procedure is done through college website...Read More
