I am intrested in doing civil engineering here the teaching is very good I chooses this course because of seeing skyscapers etc the course should be there in every collage and advanced development should be there in it the difficulty level of sem is hard and mid is oh 90 min and end is off 180 min

During the internship period companies like Microsoft, oracle, Texas, Uber,ect. Comes to NITK and 90% of the interns will placed based on their performance in the companies. And branchs like civil and mech also get pre placement offers from companies like Exxon mobile,etc.

Overall placement percentage of Btech students is 93%, It is important to maintain CG above 7, People here get packages around 20 lakhs with good efforts, and one of my senior got 55 lakhs placement, Internship offers start from 3yr and many people get pre placement offers. And the average package is around 12lpa.

Life at NITK is so fabulous,it similar to rest of NIT's and IITs, we have one of the south India's largest cultural fest 'Incident' which is generally held in the month of February or March. And we have a technical fest called 'Engineering ',these both give amazing experience and exposure. during this time we have a lot of visitors from surrounding college. Here we have two libraries one is a regular one and other is an e-library, you will have enough books to study about anything you want in here. Here you can see the best sports complex, clubs, everything as you name it.

Hostel rooms are good spacious and have proper maintenance, in first year we have block timings. As of mess food it's not that good, it's same as rest of the hostel we hear about online or experienced before. Registration is done after admission process,we have senior here to guide us through this process.

Process of admission takes place through Josaa and csab after the results of jee mains, after you qualify in jee mains you can fill your preference list as per your interest in courses and colleges, All the related data will be given in jee mains and Josaa/Csab websites. Reservation is applicable as it is a government college,and you can also avail different scholarships based on your eligibility. After the completion of councelling you'll get a final allotment letter. The required documents and date for offline verification will be given in college website.
