What Students Say

Likes

Mountains and roads are clean. Peoples are nice here .
Professors are ok and libraries are quite extraordinary.
They don't care much about attendence so you can stay at home some time.

Dislikes

Summer is quite Harsh and winters are quite cold.
There are no good wifi facilities and bad connection
Its hard to communicate with others cause students are from different cities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think curriculam is good but it must focused on practicals parts as in engineering students need to do more practical work so its important to give them some task that help them to learn how to work in their respective fields

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is good i think but they can do one thing they can allow students to submit their fees per semester.I don't know much about the scholarship because i come from a general category and we don't get any scholarship

Campus environment is good as i build my self very much in my personality development a lot of program, events happen which help students to learn a lot of things so that they can open themselves if they are shy and all

I was quite easy.Eligibility: 12th with Pcm and cuet On the official website of hnbgu you get all the details Exams schedule in 5 to 6 months of each semester Area to improve is to make everything online once classes going to start then call all the students because of the distance students need to travel

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Life around Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

I've applied for Btech course in Benaras Hindu University. But before the counselling result declared I've already taken admission in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttrakhand.
