Entrance Preview
There is no entrance base admission in University of Delhi. First you have to fill the application form and wait for the cutoff list, Based on the marks in 10+2 if you crossed the cutoff you will get admission in that college whose cutoff interval you lies.
Course Curriculum Overview
At that time it was a three years annual exam based course. Course structure is very good and department has very renowned and well educated faculty.
Internships Opportunities
I didnot do any internship although I was getting scholarship for higher education by department of science and technology.
Placement Experience
Chances for placements and job opportunities are very less. You have to work very hard to get campus placement just because very companies come for hiring and they prefer commerce and economics graduate.
College Events
The Cultural Society promotes hidden talents in the field of Dance, Debate, Drama, Music, Poetry-recitation, etc. It organises a three day Inter-College cultural festival CULFEST during the IInd term. Cultural activities and competitions are held throughout the year and teams are prepared for participating in the Inter-College Cultural Competitions. Students are advised to fill in the required form available with the Convener of the Cultural Society. Phoenix is cultural fest of Motilal Nehru College.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. The Governing body grants scholarship to six students on the basis of excellence in the University Examinations. 2. A merit award will be given to a student of B.Com (Hons.) 1st year who scores at least 60% marks in aggregate in all papers and first position in the college. Other details of the award will be put up on the notice board after the re-opening of the college for the upcoming session.
Campus Life
Motilal Nehru College has a vibrant campus life with year-round activities carried out by students under various societies and committees. The bodies organize symposia, seminars, shows, competitions and other functions and provide an opportunity to the students to showcase and develop their talents to their full potential. All committees work under the active supervision of teachers.
