What Students Say?
Likes
- Campus Life is the best here. The focus is not just on academics but also on the overall well being of a student
Dislikes
- Fees is too high for a law degree. It creates an entry barrier for a lot of people who cannot afford the fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in both Finance and law so BBALLB was the best choice for me. The curriculum prepares you really well for the real world. Areas of improvement that i would suggest would be to cut down portion of history subjects because lot of it isnt worth learning as it is of no use for the profession.
Internships Opportunities
There is a dedicated department in OP Jindal named the Office of Career Services (OCS) whose job is to help students get internships in NGOs and law firms. OCS to the best of my knowledge guarantees atleast 1 internship every semester to every student.
Placement Experience
Placement ratio is decent in Jindal. Around 100 students get placed every year. A lot of people who come here plan on pursuing masters. The average package here is around 8 to 10 lakhs. Degree from OP Jindal is considered to be a significant one in my opinion.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total cost to pursue a BBALLB degree from OP JINDAL would be around 50 lakhs which includes all the expenses (travelling, hostel, mess, laundry). But students who score above 90 percentile in LSAT-INDIA are eligible for scholarship from the university which can range anywhere between 25 to 75 percent of the tution fee annually.
Campus Life
Social aspects of the campus are really good. We have concerts on a regular basis. Sports infrastructure is top notch. There are a variety of clubs and society that students can take part in. Social life of a student is a top priority in OP Jindal
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are clean and well maintained, can say one of the best hostels in the country. Meal services are top notch. Meals are prepared by Sodexo, which is by far one of the best Hostel meal service provider in the country. Hostel is compulsory for students in OP Jindal.
Admission
For getting into op jindal for law we have to write LSAT-INDIA exam. In order to be eligible for the course we have clear LSAT and have atleast 45% in 12th. After that we have to fill the application form sent by the university via mail. There is no reservation in LSAT-INDIA. LSAT-INDIA is conducted twice a year, usually in January and June. The exam is moderately easy. Focus on one's reading skill is imperative.
