What Students Say

Likes

The faculty very wise and resourceful faculty. They have across a lot of countries and the student to faculty ratio is also very good.
The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are on power to any international institution. It is very impressive.
The food provided in the mess is of very high-quality and compare to any other Hostel. We are very lucky to be given such good food.

Dislikes

the campus is extremely over populated. We have about 13,000 students from around 12 schools. So sometimes the campus does feel pretty overcrowded.
Another sad thing is it is located in Sonipat so it is not very close to the Delhi city so Sometimes you lose out on your social life.
If it was located closer to Delhi, it would have been much more easier to do internships near quotes and easily better, avail the facilities of the national capital

Course Curriculum Overview

It's been pretty good so far, I'm in my second semester as I write this and I'm pretty happy and content, the timings are very different from what I would've expected, we have classes starting at 8 in the morning and they go on till atleast 9. Were given a good long break inbetween classes.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of internships offers through campus, but the thing is I have not used the internships that the campus provide. I've chosen to avail internships and get internships on my own so I have not the right person to comment on this.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is pretty active. to sit for placements. You have to have a basic minimum CGPA that you have to maintain throughout your five years based on that you are eligible to sit for placements after which, as far as I have heard, the placements are decent okay Itseems.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is pretty steep, 6.25 LPA and the it's a residential campus, so, we have to stay in the hostel, which is another 2,80,000 so, can round it off to 10 LPA. There's a lot of things available in campus, good crowd and all too.

Campus Life

Social life is very active. There is a lot of clubs and other things that are there to make the student life very enriching. We are student stalls which are available on various fest and various other things. So the sporting culture is also very good and very active.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is pretty good. Compared to other Hostels It's very impressive right now in the student housing I am staying in. We have it's a three sharing Hostel. The Hostel is actually been leased out to a group called the GHS.

Hostel Fee: INR 280000 per year

Admission

It was pretty smooth and a good experience, we had to give an exam called the LSAT to get in, the cut off of was 60 percentile. All those who cleared that, were given an offer letter. And after that, it was on a first come first serve basis, whoever paid first had their seat reserved.

The college struggling to be decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is extremely poor, The pedagogy is weak and the lectures are the least interesting. Some professors are gems in this coal mine but the wider picture is abysmal. The teachers force you to write and the use of gadgets even for notes is discouraged. There is no academic calendar and exams can happen anytime with prior notification of a month, The results are also delayed; Expect anywhere between 4-6 months of the declaration of results.

Placement Experience:

In L.L.B. (Hons.), the student becomes eligible for placement after the completion of their second year for PPOs. Also, after giving their sixth semester exams, the students are eligible to sit in placement drives. For law, top tier law firms like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan and Khaitan, Luthra and Luthra, litigation lawyers etc. visit the campus for placement drives. Over 90% of the students are provided placements with the aid of the university. My plans also include placement through college in law firm after completing my degree.
