NIT JALANDHAR: A college that fulfills dreams

The course curriculum was really good as my branch is Information technology, one of the demanding branches of today. My interest in technology and emerging branches of tech pulled me here. The curriculum goes pretty smooth and the projects we're required to prepaper during the course prepares us for real world application. Frequency and timings of exam is also good. It conducts 2 exams in a semester. And 4 exams in a year which gives sufficient time to study as well as do extracurricular activities

Internship opportunities at NIT Jalandhar include roles from companies like TCS, Infosys, and Bosch, with projects ranging from software development to engineering research, yielding tangible outcomes for both students and sponsoring companies.

The students are eligible for placements from 4th year but the internships starts from 3rd year itself. The companies like TCS, Infosys, BOSCH, Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung are visited every year and make 50-60 offers.

The annual fests like Bharat Dwani, cultural fest Utkansh and technical fest Techniti are held usually in months of October, March and November respectively. They are always fun and worth attending creating a different atmosphere and scope for bright future. The accessibility of books is from the library and the library consists of every book required for the student in 4 years of the course as well as in multiples. The classrooms are facilities with projectors, digital boards, ACs and furnished benches. There are several sports clubs as well as fashion, photography, fine arts, social welfare, dance, singing , karate, etc.

The hostel for first year is called GH1 and GH2 and are provided with 2 seater and 3 seater rooms along with almirahs, bed, chair, table , fans , balcony and good clean washrooms. The mess menu is very good and food quality is also pretty rich. Hygiene and cleanliness are specially taken care of.

I have taken admission in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. I'm in the first year of B.Tech for which I have qualified entrance exam called JEE mains with the score of 98%ile. I've alloted this seat by seat allocation process done by JOSAa. The application form and all details were available on the college website. The website also has fee chart of 4 year course of B.Tech. I've availed the reservation benefit for OBC candidate in the college cutoff.The admission process was easy, smooth and directional.
