Likes

Community, the people there are very helpful and kind.
The environment, the college campus has a very green and clean campus.
Teaching environment, the teaching environment in our college provides top notch education.

Dislikes

The syllabus followed in our college is a bit hectic and divergent.
The infrastructure is still under construction so, there's lots of construction noises going on.
The hostel in our college is not a good one. The food there is very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course offers me a chance to attain professionalism. It has tutorial hours and placement training to attain jobs. Syllabus need to be a bit more focues rather than all over the place. The exams are timed almost right with breathable difficulty.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Teachnook offers a variety of internships. They provide more IT based learning internships. Acmegrade is another company that offers internships for students. They offer more projects based learning stuff. In the end these companies provide certificates, that are very useful in resumes.

Placement Experience

Campus placement starts in the 7th semester. Some companies that have visited are TCS, SADA, Infosys etc. Average package is 5. Maximum package is around 20. Of all students, 40% are getting placed. I want to get placed through my college's placement drives.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee fluctuates from time to time, but there is no overall hike. The complete cost would be around 50k. There are various scholarships that students can apply for that covers students from all backgrounds.

Campus Life

Aagneya is our annual tech fest, which is number one in our state. We have a very professional and adequate library. The classrooms are equipped with mic systems and visual learning gadgets. Sports meet is conducted annually.

Admission

The course required me to have atleast 12000 rank in keam. Application form was available in the official CEE site. There was only one exam and it was fairly difficult to crack. They could make the entire process a bit more faster.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

G.E.C. PALAMU : A. Brief Overview .

Actually I applied in Chandigarh University , KIIT , SRM, and Quantum University . I even. Done the formalities of Quantum University but when the result of JCECEB COUNSELING came I took decision to take admission in this college as for now I think my decision is good . This college first of all government aided which provides a way better option than other private colleges which I opted for . Also this college might not compare with the other private colleges which I mentioned in so called renowned facilities but still we can get all basic facilities here . And all the above the fees here is very much affordable as compared to all the colleges which I mentioned in my list . Means all your engineering course will be completed in about 5 lakhs . which is very much less as compared to even NIT and IIT.
