Worth Studying in "The ICFAI University"

The mention details are not all true and there is lack of advertisement in promoting the engineering section. But the univeristy is famous for the Management like MBA and it is top B school also. I suggest no to trust what written over the net or website.

Since i have no better option than this as i am getting below average colleges in UP. Also it has very low fees as comparative to other university. Also all the facilities are available in this. And i am getting the direct admission through 12 percentage and scholarship too on the basis of board percentage

I chosen the B.tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, because i love the branch. The course is designed very good in keeping mind about the competitive exams like GATE , IES etc as well as interview purposes. Student can gain knowledge in theory session as well as from practicals also. University focuses on both the side equally because being an engineer student you must have to be more practical rather than the theoritical

Yes my university provides the internship. The college provides two internship in the four year degree program. The first one is of 2 months after the completion of the 4th semester and other one is of 6 months after the completion of 7th semester. Few small scale industries are tied up with the college. They provide stipend according to the candidate and need for the job. On an average the intern get the 3k-4k per month.

Many companies came to the college for all the departments. For electronics engineering Sahasra Electronics, Byjus and few other are tied, with starting packages around 2-3lacs. I think this is the fair amount(but yes in the crucial living its too low) since all the students are freshers. Highest packages were 9 lacs for freshers . Our TPO cell is also good and students get the resources and off campus placement drive information from that only. Many students are also placed in off campus drive like from hitachi, samsung etc

The college conducts the fresher party for the first year which had to be given by the 2nd year student and farewell function for 4th year student given by the 3rd year student. On monthly basis student conducts the tournaments of every sports. The winners are also rewarded for the same. Workshop also conducts for the department and fest party also organized by the college which is very good and well prepared. The college pass the budget for every program or function.

Yes the fees is very affordable and if one had very good percentage in 12th then he/she will be getting the scholarship every semester but some condition that he/she must have to maintain the 7 CGPA in every semester. Also the university give the semester wise scholarship for top 10% student in the class. Student have to pay only tuition fee and nothing else. The fee is only 67,500 per semester.

Yes college provide the two types of scholarship one is 12% basis and second one is of semester wise . If you have scored more than 90% then you will get a total of 1,10,000/-in & between 80-90% then 1,00,000 and 70-80% then 90,000 only. but you have to maintain the 7.0 CGPA in every semester. The other one is of semester wise in which you have scored >=9.0 CGPA then you will get around 17000 rs.

Hostel and mess are very hygiene and the maintenance of them is also strictly followed. College has don't have its own hostel it had tied up with some near by hostels. The fees is changed every year. The rooms are available in the double/triple sharing. The infrastructure is good and well maintained.

Alumni network is good and seniors are also very cooperative as well as helpful. They are the one who gave the books to all the juniors and tells about the college life. The campus is ragging free and it is strictly not allowed. If someone has caught doing this then he may be restricted and also there is anti-ragging committee so that student can call any time

The exam structure is well and good. University conducts the midsem exam before the semester. Total four exams take place in the span of one year followed by the practicals. The exam is conducting in a very well mannered and surprise checking also takes place.

I got to know about this university through internet surfing in a third party webiste, then i check its official site and placements as well as faculties available in the colleges. I found that this university can take admission on the basis of percentage also. Then i simply fill the online form and paid the fees of application form online. Then after 2-3 weeks i got the kit from the university which contains the brochure, detailed documents regarding scholarship. Then after this a interview call letter sent by the university online in which there is a scheduled date. I visited the campus and i found very good the classes, laboratory etc. My interview was good got selected on spot. Then i had to pay the admission fee as well as first semester fees. The procedure of admission is very simple for those who got good percentage but if someone percentage is too low then university had to think and result got awaited. The university infrastructure is too good.

Our faculty is too good. Since all the faculty is holding a doctorate degree and having a minimum of 5-6 years experience in teaching profession. Our Dean of Engineering Department is very experienced person who have industry experience as well as teaching experience. All the faculty is very cooperative and the way of teaching is also too good. They can easily know the weaknesses and strength of the students. They were making us feel comfortable in first few weeks as we are new to college environment, so it takes time to be settled. All the faculties strictly follow the rules and regulations and they very punctual. Yes they stress on the attendance since if the student will not come to the class then he/she will going to face problems in the exams. All the faculties are friendly also at the same time
