My College Life

I would rate the course curriculum as moderately comprehensive but it needs to get better in real-world exposure. The theoretical knowledge is delieverd in well manner but the practical knowledge is somehow missing . The legal profession is completely about the practical application of your knowledge and wisdom. So my college should focus on providing more practical knowledge rather than focusing on bookish knowledge.

My college provides a form via email to get Internship through the college administration each year . The students who fill that form , get internship under the advocates or firms or NGOs according to their batch and year .

There is a placement cell in my college campus headed by Diwakar Das Sir. He is very responsible towards his work and ensures that the deserving students will get placed at good places . I'm not interested in corporate law so I won't be getting any placement form the college . I have other plans for my future .

65000 is the semester fees for 5 year integrated law course but there is a scholarship scheme based on 12th marks . The semester fees reduces upto 50000 based on the 12th score. There are other scholarship based on study performance of the students during the whole year.

Our college is really not good at organising fests, events or any get together for their students . They organise events regarding competition only. The overall facilities provided by the college is good.

I have applied at many different places in different colleges but I chose this one due to its overall concern regarding the students . This college is very affordable as the legal studies needs heavy expenses this college is relatively affordable. Even the average middle class people can afford their childern to get admission into this college. The admission process is very simple only one interview is being conducted for the selection. After the selection the admission department will contact the students by themselves.

The faculties of my college are well qualified and experienced. They are polite and cooperative as well. The course structure is as- there are 2 semesters in a year of 6 months each. In each semester the institute conducts 4 exams including one of 10 marks quiz then 30 marks mid term written exam after that again 10 marks evaluation based on assignments and class representation and at the last end sem exam of 50 marks . The question paper is very moderate even the average student can score well after doing a little hard work.

There are many cafe, visiting places and peaceful places outside the campus. The city is literally very beautiful and it is just wonderful at night. After a hectic dayout in the college it's just the weather of that place that manages out mind and life.
