A transformative journey; my experience at ICFAI UNIVERSITY

The course i opted for is BBA.LLB hons , not a nice course to opt for you will only keep struggling in this course and keep studing atill you will not get the fruit you will expect after all the hardwork

there are very limited internship opportunities, they provide internship to very limited studeb=nts who are there favourites. you need to figure the internship for yourselves. it is really a struggle to find internhip for yourself in a field like law

The placement structure is not good for law department, it is really very good for MBA and other department but definetly not for law. it is not like they don't provide placement at all but instead if there are 150 students and 80 students have opted for placement then only 20 to 25 students get placement which maximum goes to 7lakh per annum.

i am a student of ICFAI university , the course i pursued there was BBA.LLB hons . The fees structure is 65000 per semester , i graduated in the year 2024 but now the fees structure is increased to 70000 per semster as muchas i know. the infrastructure is normal nothing great. The university does not conduct any fest or any program , soo anybody who goes with the hope of college life will get dissapointed . Also they do not have a very good placement structure.

there is nothing like campus life , you can wear casual dresses only on friday rest monday to thursday you have to wear the college uniform . and you have to wear decent clothes to college no shorts and all are allowed. the college does not has any hostel of its own inside the campus. there is nothing such as campus life in that college , earlier girls were not allowed to enter the campus after 6:30 pm but boys were allowed. now this rule has been removed as much as i know.

the campus does not have its own hostel , there are hostels outside the campus which are associated with the college the fee structure of hostels are around 100000 to 120000. if you have any problem regarding the hostel the college does not take any responsibility

i opted for thjis college as some of my cousins have studied from this college . so i had it is a good college . also the fees structure as compared to other colleges was in my budget.Also while taking admission i really likedf the place where the college was loacted not the area in which the college is located but the city in which the college is located that is Dehradun.

Some faculty members who are in that college from a very long time are really good and really have knowledge of law but a lot of faculty members do not know the law thwmselves which they are teaching the students. the marks are on CGPA basis but they are not based on soley your performance the CGPA system is based on how others are performing . for eg if you score 90 out of 100 and 40 other students have also scored the same marks only 10% of the students will get A grade rest will get B and soo on even if you have scored the same marks. also the faculty membrers are baised.

there is no such thing as nightlife around that college ,the college is located in a village like area . there are barely road lights in that area. there 1 or 2 clubs in dehradun that are open late night. but you can to moutains and chill.
