The college is very chill and attendance they will give if you achieve something.
Teachers are very good they will teach very well
Placements are also good you can compare it with the tier1 colleges

Dislikes

The infrastructure is lack and the campus has less space
More politics is there in clubs soo can't expect much.
Ground is too small you can't even play a cricket

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is relevant to industry standard and the teaching is top notch. The curriculum has many subjects like entrepreneurship and product management which prepared for real world applications and further academic pursuits. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate and the frequency is like once a month which is pretty high, I would suggest that the management space the gap between the exams a little bit more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well since, I got through CET my tuition was only 1.4L for the whole course that is for all of the four years. Furthermore there are many scholarships and financial aids available for students to avail. I got placed as a sap analyst at Deloitte consulting for 7.6 LPA so yes, the ROI is good.

Campus Life

Well the annual fest is called UTSAV (held in may) and the technical fest is called Phaseshift (held in November). The library is very modern and spacious and the range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is excellent. The facilities and technological provisions within most of the classrooms is good, while the others not so much. Sports and extracurricular activities in the college are great there are many clubs and student societies is the college to choose from.

Admission

Well, to be eligible for the course you need to have passed your CBSE/PUC 12th std exam/2nd PU exam from science stream. I am a GM student who got through the college after writing the KCET exam, my rank was around 5k, so I had to pay around 1.4L for the four years I studied as tuition. Well, regarding the application form and everything, I applied through KCET so the process was pretty straight forward, I got the seat after the first round of counseling after which one would have to show the particulars asked by the college at the time of admission. The admission process was pretty smooth except for the fact that one has to stand in lengthy lines in order to get admission, if the process were online, it would have been much better.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Hence the reason for choosing it..Admission process is throgh competetive exams or management quota.Competetive exams taken are COMEDK and KCET...the cutoff ranks again depend on the branch but go as low as 2000 for CS and related branches and upto 50000 for Civil and others..it can go even higher if reservation applied)...Read More

Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference. I chose this college because I wanted to pursue CSE and this college seems to be a good option to do so. I did get rejection from a few colleges because I could crack their entrance exam.
