Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is old fashion . it was last updated in 2012 also in NIT surathkal MCA comes under the MACS department . So, we have one subject of mathematics in each semester. and most of our teaher are having mathematics background still they are teaching computer science subjects. Teaching way is good and teahers gives their best.
Internships Opportunities
About 16 -18 student got internship this year in MCA . Adobe campanies first time come in NIT Surathkal to get Girl Intern and three girls from MCA is get the offer letter from the Adobe and job loaction is Bengluru.
Placement Experience
Being in top 3 NIT , NIT Surathkal has a good placment precentage . Every year about 95-96 % get placed in MCA. Average package is abhout 15- 17 lakhs. All big compaines visit our college. Highest package is 52 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
total fee for 3 year is 5 lakh and thirty five thousand only and one more think for self finance student the fee for three year is 21 lakh. their are total 10 seat for self finance in NIT Surathkal. Scholarship is given to SC ans ST students.
Campus Life
Campus life is good . As their is no restriction for PG student . Enviroment is also good. being a north indian student i feel no such difficulty . Also , one more thing is that NIT Surathkal has its private beeach So we can go their for enjoyment and refreshment . as beeach is just 5 min away from the hostel.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are quite good . For MCA first year newly built hostel Godavri was alloted where you get all the facility . like the bed is quite big , study table is also nice , the chair is comfortable and cupboard is big.

1. Eligibility of the Course : FOr eligibility criteria you have to see the nimcet official website. usually it change every year. Application Process: YOu have to fill NIMCET FOrm and sit for the entrance . if you get good rank t 3.Entrance Exan and Curt-offs: CUt-offs are often determined based on the number of applicants , difficulty of the exam and availability of the seat. The sllabus of the exam is qutiet easy and one can clear it by preperaing for 3-4 month . 4.Counselling and Seat Allotments: Shortlistyed candidates are called for counselling rounds , where they have the opportunity to choose their preffered specilzation and institution based on their ranks and available seats.
