Engineering Physics contains course structure from core physics like Electrodynamics, Nuclear Physics, Quantum Mechanics to electrical and electronics subjects like Electronics and more. It is much relevant and gives the student edge against sitting in placements for range of companies based on the vast topics covered in the course. Teachers are highly qualified but classrooms infrastructure can be better.

Big companies offers interships as well as top institutes like IITs also take a lot of students giving stipend around average rs.10k for summer and winter internships. Other companies gives stipend according to the achievements and ability of the students.

Usually from 6th semester students are eligible to sit for placements according to their ability. Lots of companies visit every year from Tech Mahindra, TATA to big FANG companies also touched in few years. Around 60% of students gets placed and average package is around 7LPA.

Tuition fees are same for all categories for this course as this is a 5 years integrated Btech plus Mtech course. The complete cost of education is around 5L for 5 years excluding the hostel fees. Scholarships are available for all students and the scholarship section are really helpful on guiding the newer students to apply.

MOKSHA the annual cultural fest is one of the biggest fests in North East India which is held in winter time. AAYAM the annual tech fests is held during summer time and is also one of the biggest in NE. The sports section is really active of NIT Agartala and are bagging medals in all sorts of sports from volleyball to kabbadi to power lifting.

There are 2 major hostels for boys named Aryabhatta and RNT hostel. RNT is newer building and 1st and 3rd year students along with master's students stay there. While Aryabhatta is where rest of the students stay. There's 3 different mess available namely Eastern, Northern (Veg) and Southern Mess according to students taste.

I got ST rank around 30k from other state in JEE Mains exam. Engineering Physics is a really promising branch and the dept of physics were helpful during the admission process along with the college administration.
