Course Curriculum Overview

This course gave me the stage for to serve the peoples who really requires health basic needs. The curriculum and the way of teaching is amazing because it include practical assignments as well as theoretical knowledge.....daily we get exposure with patients and learn new things practically. Practical learning is the most important.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided by the college In the last 6months of 4th year college makes the roster of 4th yr students in which they are placed in different wards ,places in PGI( New OPD, Nehru, Trauma centre) as well as in community areas itself only.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship is provided by the college. The Fee is approx. 800 per year and in starting 5,000 was paid along with this examination fees we have to pay that might be 200 per year. The stipend given by the college is 500 per month

Campus Life

Campus Life basically includes hospital exposure which tires us but helps a lot in learning practical things also. The college has its own library where students can read and issue any book. The affordability of books is also manageable.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel, it is a shared room in which I have paid 2000 for an year Mess fees is 1100 in which the quality is not good of food...NINE hostel is given only to nursing BSc 4 year students of PGI only

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

It was a National entrance exam of PGIMER Chandigarh. Its application form details are available on the PGIMER Chandigarh website. The application fee was approx 1100 and filled after neet in the month of June or July. Reservation benefits are in the percentile. The difficulty level is moderate

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

After intership placement in pgimer is there..job offered in pgi only.90%of students get job placement there only after degree completion starting salary of 70000 ehich increases upto 1lakh within few years

Proscons

Placement Experience:

In our course curriculum the students become eligible after the 8 semester completed for the placements .many hospitals like max ,Fortis Paras hospital, manipal hospital with the average package of 20000 arrived for the placements. The highest package was offered by Fortis hospital at least 70 percent students get the placement. My plan is to join any of the hospital to enhance my nursing skills and knowledge.

Honest review for nursing collage

Placement Experience:

The pgimer gave us placement in pgimer. They gave us oppertunity to gave service as nursing officer in pgimer . All you need to get placement is the clearance of graduation from pgimer only . Then after completing your graduation you will get the offer to do the job in pgimer for further years . The pay scale is very good and in pgimer you got the great oppertunity to learn the thing because. The pgimer is the second largest and greatest medical institute in whole india so if you got the admission in pgimer then your future is in secure hands and you can live freely without any stress of future placement

After 4 years student get job within 3&4 month's...govt central job in given ..... with Job security..... Many students also go foreign after graduation ????..PGI Chandigarh offers direct job .. without any exam... .

Remarks:

Only the placement cell for nursing is not up to the mark. Otherwise, its an amazing place to explore yourself more. My favorite part at campus was library as it has almost all books even of international edition as well.

Remarks:

Our college is very good located in very prime location. We get student health facility when we are ill at Nehru Hospital. PGIMER has a central library and even NINE has its own library with various journals,books and research papers. Training for students and teachers is provided by Visakha program.

I had appeared for neet. But as a average student i couldn't make it to be a doctor insted i cracked pgi chandigarh nsc nursing entrance. Pgi chandigarh is very affordable. It provide job as bond is signed during admission, hostel is provided, everything is very affordable here, we have to pay for uniform and that is one time investment. Pgi conduct exam for admission. Pgi chandigarh bsc nursing entrance is the name of exam, it's basically conducted in month of june or july and it is conducted in 4-5 state of north india, it is for females only. Merit list will ne released after the result and student who get their name in list can apply for counseling. Currently there are 89 seats in bsc nursing for 2024 but from 2025 seats will be increased and they will be 128 . Exam is of moderate level. It comprises of biology 20 question. Physics 20 question. Chemistry 20 question. English 20 question. Nursing aptitude 20 question. Paper is conducted in online mode Exam is of 2 hours and 100 questions will be there and +1 for a correct answer and -0. 25 for a wrong answer.
