Unbearable memories

The strict rules of our college. in the starting it was tough to adjust but slowly it's been a routine now.

We have clinicals + theory classes in our course from 8am to 1 pm. then 1 hour lunch brake and from 2pm to 5pm theory classes. in first year we are provided with basic knowledge of nursing and every year 2 assessment test are taken one in December and 2nd in end of may. And in August final exams are conducted. In first year we have three visits incinator plant, slaughter house and diary ie verka booth plant. in 2nd year It much relaxing as compare to 1st may be more experience is there. in 3rd year it's much written work whole of the assignments and clinicals but experience is good.

As such no placement is there in our course we are provided with 3 year compulsory job. And every student who cracked the entrance is provided with job here in pgi only as a nursing officer.

We celebrate freshers and farewell and lohri function, Christmas and diwali. Zenith is also there every year. And sports meet and awareness running. Almost every student participate in it. zenith which is managed on large scale is done by pgi only rest of the functions are done by our own college. With setting different committee s and raising funds for celebrations.

It is feasible we have 835 rs college fee and 5000 rs hostel per annum and is submitted in the form of demand draft. No there is no additional fee. but when exams are to be conducted we submit 200 rs extra. And we even get stipend worth 500rs everymonth.

As such there is no scholarships but we get rs 500 every month till 4th year. means in 4 years course we get 24000.

Campus life is good as compare to the busy schedule. there are no seats for boys in my course in 4 years bsc nursing. but in hostel we enjoy a lot we celebrate bdays of each other we play we enjoy. discuss our lectures intestely. In politics we have hostel managements.

Yes I am an hostler. And we share room upto 3rd year and in 4th year we are provided with single rooms. as in 4th year we have night duties and internship. Rooms are good but not spacious with bunker beds. And almost all the students who require hostel they get it easily.

In my college u have give god type respect to seniors u have wish them. bond with senior is really helpful. they guide you thoroughly.

I got admission in the college in 2017 in month of July on 13 th July the entrance was conducted and around 16 the result came. I was a neet aspirant on behalf of parents I filled the form and was least intrested to do nursing but when result came and I got 99. 09 percentile I was amazed and even came to know about job associated with course so I agreed to it and on the day of result declaration it is mandatory to submit your merit certificate, character and +2 detail mark sheet in orignal so I submitted that and my session started in september 1.

Almost every year 250+hours for clinicals and 200+hours for theory with 100% attendence in clinicals and 80% attendence in theory. senior most teachers which usually teaches higher classes are around 50+ of age and junior are younger mostly 30+. lectures are in form of ppt display on screen and teacher explaining.
