Every year pgimer conducts an entrance exam for bsc 4 years nursing ..and within 20 days result out ... Eligibility - 12 th with phy che and bio , Forms available on pgimer website. Application fee -1500 for gen ...and less for reserved candidate.. Usually exams taken in July ...and it's computer based exam ...and syllabus is pcb and English, GK ... All information is related released in bulliten... Total 93 seats ...47 for UR and 25 obc 14 sc 7 st ... Councelling offline...and all admission certificate verification too....

Hostel is Very nice ....as we all know... hostel life is quite different.and difficult...in starting days. . but our seniors are very cooperative and treat us like thier own siblings....and warden mam is too nice .... Hostel food is also okhay...in very cheap price ..1150... Security is very good here ...and clean positive environmental present..

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Placement Experience:

In our course curriculum the students become eligible after the 8 semester completed for the placements .many hospitals like max ,Fortis Paras hospital, manipal hospital with the average package of 20000 arrived for the placements. The highest package was offered by Fortis hospital at least 70 percent students get the placement. My plan is to join any of the hospital to enhance my nursing skills and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

The pgimer gave us placement in pgimer. They gave us oppertunity to gave service as nursing officer in pgimer . All you need to get placement is the clearance of graduation from pgimer only . Then after completing your graduation you will get the offer to do the job in pgimer for further years . The pay scale is very good and in pgimer you got the great oppertunity to learn the thing because. The pgimer is the second largest and greatest medical institute in whole india so if you got the admission in pgimer then your future is in secure hands and you can live freely without any stress of future placement

Staff and study at chitkara school of health sciences

Remarks:

Only the placement cell for nursing is not up to the mark. Otherwise, its an amazing place to explore yourself more. My favorite part at campus was library as it has almost all books even of international edition as well.

Our college is very good located in very prime location. We get student health facility when we are ill at Nehru Hospital. PGIMER has a central library and even NINE has its own library with various journals,books and research papers. Training for students and teachers is provided by Visakha program.

I had appeared for neet. But as a average student i couldn't make it to be a doctor insted i cracked pgi chandigarh nsc nursing entrance. Pgi chandigarh is very affordable. It provide job as bond is signed during admission, hostel is provided, everything is very affordable here, we have to pay for uniform and that is one time investment. Pgi conduct exam for admission. Pgi chandigarh bsc nursing entrance is the name of exam, it's basically conducted in month of june or july and it is conducted in 4-5 state of north india, it is for females only. Merit list will ne released after the result and student who get their name in list can apply for counseling. Currently there are 89 seats in bsc nursing for 2024 but from 2025 seats will be increased and they will be 128 . Exam is of moderate level. It comprises of biology 20 question. Physics 20 question. Chemistry 20 question. English 20 question. Nursing aptitude 20 question. Paper is conducted in online mode Exam is of 2 hours and 100 questions will be there and +1 for a correct answer and -0. 25 for a wrong answer.
