Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for medical lab science students is different for each student as the lab hours are different for each lab. classes are held in the morning 8-9 am or after 2-5 pm so that it doesn't clashes with lab hours.
Internships Opportunities
the internship opportunities are also great. stipends are also provided, which was recently increased. the work done during internship is really interesting and tough, the one that piqued my interest was the internship in microbiology.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of 3300 was paid during admission which covered the whole 1st years fees including library card fees. In 2nd year I just paid 500 fees and i think we'll br paying examination fees later on a week or so before date sheet is out.
Campus Life
So far the campus life has been hoing smoothly, all the students are very friendly so are the clinical staff. the lab duties are tiring but the knowledge provided is of good use. The training provided if also really good
Admission
I chose this college as the fees is very affordable and the facilities provided were great. The college is also one of the top medical colleges in India. Chandigarh is also near to Delhi so that i could visit my parents time to time.
Faculty
The faculty staffs are very friendly and approachable and easy to talk to. They teach us about the work going in labs properly and provide all the necessary information and knowledge about the labs, the tutors are also very friendly and good at teaching.
Interview Experience
There wasn't any particular discussion, but a counseling was held, where students were called according to their percentage in the competitive exam. everything was done in fair means, then we were called the next day for department distribution
Night Life
the college has many hangout points such as the Canteen which is divided into lower canteen and upper canteen, there's also a Tuck shop, sports complex is also there where we have a football ground, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton. students aren't doing any nightime lab duties for my course.
