Course Curriculum Overview

As i come from Science background that's why I opted for science stream here as well for my graduation course, there are many Science related groups too in the college where active participation and active activities are being conducted.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 34137 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees for B.Sc is around 34k including everything , don't have any idea about scholarship programs. My friend opted for B.A , his fees is around 32k per annum. Other than these charges you have to pay 3200 as semester exam fees.

Campus Life

Regular social groups and club activities are being conducted in the campus itself with which new learnings . Regular competitions like marathon , hackathon , paining etc are being conducted. There is an annual sports fest too.

Hostel Facilities

Here you can get a 2,3 or 4 seater room in the hostel. Each student gets a bed , almirah , study table and a chair. Also wifi is provided here which has a decent speed. Food quality is good in comparison to other colleges hostels. 3 time meal is provided along with tea and snacks.

Hostel Fee: INR 125500 per year

Admission

I opted this college as campus is good here. Here , NCC is also one of the best so that influenced me to join the college and admissions are being conducted on merit basis, so the environment is good too.

Faculty

Faculty is good here and New Education Policy (NEP) is being implemented here from this year. Per semester you have to study 8 subjects. Most of the students here are able to pass the examinations and the level is moderate.

The best university I've ever seen

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked studying chemistry so i chose to take chemistry honours, those laws and equations and reactions seems very interesting to me even my classmates are too very happy with the course and one of the reason is that the teachers teaching here are quite good, there will be total 8 semesters and the frequency of exams seems a bit frustrating cause u know no one likes to give exams????

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am choose the course because I am very interested in computer science and I read everything this subject. And my class mates no is 53 there are big area and big rooms. There are high level qualifications faculty and teaching method is very interesting. Every exam was conducted 1 yearly and my difficulty is this i am week in one subject but I passes this class.

I applied to PGGC- 11 college , which is also in chandigarh, i got admission there too, but i chose this college because its more better in education as compared to the other . And SD college is regarded as one of the best colleges in chandigarh. You can apply for BA directly using the college's website , but for centralised courses you'll have to fill the official govt form. The cut off for B.Com students is more than 100% and for BCA is more than 80%....Read More

I applied for 4 colleges from which one is my present college 2 is DAV college 3 is khalsa college and 4 is Panjab university. My 1 preference was to get admission in panjab university but I couldn't get and my secind prefrence was SD college and i got admission here . Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh.
