Good vibes and great study environment for students .

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It focuses on pratical and theoretical equally. exams are in two phases per semester ,mid sem and end sem and respective lab evaluations.difficulty is normal. There are Lab for rfespective courses and good infrastructure so it helps a lot. Few teachers do not have complete hold of syllabus or knowledge or they are little low on enthusiasm this lowers class performance . msts ,ests and lab evals.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

jpmc -75000 for summer interns sde. microsoft total 2.5 lakhs for summer interns. Various projects are also there trhat give live experience and real time market views.Various hackathons are there likre jpmc do code for good and selected student get chance to apply for sde intrn or full time roll there.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students can apply for in campus offers starting from 4 semesters. VArious companies like google ,apple ,jpmc ,optum etc have visited and made several offers. highest package was of 40 lakhs by electrical branch. around 80 % have been placed rest opt for higher education. To go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

basically fee structure is there on thapar site ,it changes for each year .depends on when you take admissions. complete cost of my education along with hostels and mess will be around 30 lakhs. There are various schloraship mainly merit and merit cum means. In merit scholarship top 10% of each course get roughly around 2.5 lacks off per semster. And in means one you will be required to show neccessary documents of income below 10 lakhs of net income only are considerd. Campus placements have gone well for previous batch keeping in mind receesion in market.

Campus Life

We have annual techno fest named Saturnalia which is the biggest fest here .We also have various smaal Fests like izhaar and mudra nights and other events from various societies. We have great library and it has various services .One can reach out to library for any books . We have smart classrooms and great infrastructure. Sports fst are also there like urja . One can train in any sports here and coaches provide assistance free of cost . we have various societies nearly 150 .

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
