Course Curriculum Overview

My course which is Bcom Honors, requires time of stundents. It is moderately hard in comparison to Bcom programme. It focuses on the specialization in any particular subject. It's a 4 year course. In which 3 years are for degree and last year is for research and specialization.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 11500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is dependent on which course a person is opting and in which college he or she may get in. Different colleges has different fee structure for different courses. My course and college cost me fees rs11500 per year except examination fees.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of my college is classy yet cool. It has greenery all over. The campus has the famous rock garden. Maitreyi has already won 5 prizes for best garden in Delhi University. There are may societies - cultural and social and financial societies.

Admission

1) cuet form was released 2) Gave the cuet exam based on NEP. 3) My course required subjects that included - economics, accountancy, business studies, One language (English) 4) I opted 3 main stream subjects, one language and physical education.

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
