Course Curriculum Overview

The course is not much related to the current technologies it is some what old.The exam are of two type Insemester and End semester the Insemister exam is conducted after one or two months of starting the course and end semester is at the end of semester.In semester is based on the the first two units of the Subject/Course and end semester is based on the remaining four units.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are good .They offer average package around 5.7 lakhs . Companies visited to our clg include global services,Atlas copco,etc they offer average packages.About 50%student get on campus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has EWS, TFWS schemes, and the schemes for reservation seats. The tution fees is around 80000 and the remaining are the library and Gymnasium fees which is around 10000. For TFWS category the tution fees is excluded they only have to pay the remaining fees . There is no tution fee increase as far as our batch is concerned. The college also supports for the scholarships available on the mahadbt portal.

Campus Life

Our college has an annual gathering named SAMASARA.it lasts for five to six days. During the gathering, there are various days like tradition, cosplayers, and at the end of SAMSARA. There is a concert which is conducted on the clg ground. The college also conducts a sports event named RANASANGRAM this event includes sports like cricket, Kabbadi, football, basketball, volleyball, etc. And these are conducted between the classes.

Admission

The admission process was so smooth. There was a person for each process for admission and was told what to do in that process they were very helpful. The eligibility of course is that you should give the CET or JEE exam and based on your merit or your rank if it fits in the cutoff of college you can be admitted to the course

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I chose this college because this college is very reputed in Pune for engineering specially electrical engineering. Admission process - You should apply through CAP process to get admission in this college. MHTCET + JEE, both scores can get you admitted in this college as there is also an all India quota. After the CAP processes are completed, you can also attend it's spot round as they are also conducted in a very systematic manner. Why this college over others? Pune vidyarthi gruha college of engineering and technology (pvgcoet) a overall great college with affordable fees

This is one of the top colleges In pune. This was the reason for me to choose this college. Comparing pvg with colleges like aissms, dy patil, modern, and many more pvg is far better in terms of placements. Didn't had the marks required to get to other colleges like vit viit pict coep pccoe etc so I choose pvg. I got a confirmed admission for keystone college but it is worse that pvg so I chose pvg. To get admission in pvg college you need to fill a form of cet. Mht cet is one of these examples. If you have passed 12th standard then apply for mht cet.
