Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I was a student in humanities, I thought to try something new for a change and this instigated me to choose philosophy is really a good subject. one who applies it in real life knows the world. I think all the youth should study philosophy. it is really interesting The teaching method and the department are good in our college but as we know professors' work is to profess not to teach you line by line, so students need to work hard and the department should be more active in calculating the level of the students. students get enough time to prepare for exams. All you need is to analyse the pyq

Internships Opportunities

3

Theri are many internships avail are which i do not have much idea . VC internships is also available. one of my friend enroll and used to earn 500 per day after workin 4 to 5 hours moreover some online internship are also available

Placement Experience

2.5

placements are offered to students via placement cell. Some of them are in campus and some off . Its very difficult for any arts student to get placement easily . especially with the course like philosophy. But yes its good for rest like economics . The pay is also good

Fees and Financial Aid

students have to pay 21000 for philosophy. Fees vary from course to course and subject to subject. Fee structure of HRC is little high but yes they come up with a lot of scholarships im which students can easily enroll. all the updates are available in the official web page even fees concessions are being provided

Campus Life

3.5

The college environment is really good. students can join different societies . The area of the college is big . You can easily chill with your friends. sports society of HRC is also very nice . Classrooms are quite good with AC . overallthe experience is great

Hostel Facilities

4

I live in undergraduate hostel which is in mukherjeenagar . Its really very good . Its not a hostel of HRC but its a common hostel for DU. It is quite affirdable with all benifits like gym , laundary, geyser, shop, medical , sports etc... fees are taken annually and monthly it costs around 9000 only including all the above facilities with 3 times meal and 1 time snacks

Admission

The process of the admission was good . The portal was working properly . all the students needed to provide proper document else the admission could be cancelled. My admission was based on my 12th percentage . I got philosophy in daulat ram in my first cut off list which was of 94 percent . In the second i got hansraj and decided to switch to HRC for more exposure. students may face some problem while shifting their admissions from one college to the other . i had applied from ews category and faced a little problem. But later on it was resolved. Definitely if a student belong to some category like ews can avail facilities. Admission process is quite good . The verification process often hets dalayed . so the authority should speed up their verification process.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

My course is on a difficult side . There are subjects like statistics and maths which are too practical and hard . But this opens my mind towards practical approaches. Moreover the demand for this course is much more then its related courses like bcom and bba.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements
