Likes

Campius placements are good in this college.
Events are limited but we enjoy a lot in the college
College is very large and spaceous. we can have a lot of fum in the campus itself

Dislikes

As campus is very large. our classrooms are far
Sometime mess food is worse ad cant be eaten. but as an alternative we do go to eat outside
As class strength is high and classroom are small, it feels conjusted in class room

Course Curriculum Overview

The course regarding ECE is not yet started. but we do have a subject of electronics.. This subject is in depth and very helpful for basic ideas of electronics The circulum is good and well planned.. so that we can cover whole syllabus and gain good knowledge There is no need of improvement

Placement Experience

From 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for placements There are lot of companies offered, like google etc.., for my course there are 18 offers this year 55 students out of 110 are placed this year 56% students are placed After getting the degree, i need a campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure. for me tution fee is zero. The hostel fee is same for everyone I have applied for a scholarship, but it was rejected due to insufficient funds In my category only 19 students form the first year got a scholarship In campus placements are half of the total members applied for employment this year

Campus Life

Campus life is cool There are less events but we can enjoy a lot in all those events There are so many clubs regarding different aspects Infrastructure provided is of high quality we can enjoy a lot in the campus. as it is very high area we do have many parks and a lot of play grounds

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room are spaceous and we are of 2 members per room Hoster mess is not so good, but on weekends its good we do have nonveg every night Registration at hostel is somewhat leangthy proccess It took lot of time for the process

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is based on entrance exam JEE MAIN. Application form is found in jee mains website only, all the application fees and application dates are sent in that website itsel. Reservation benifits are nor availed at the time of admission.. only the college fee was zero My shift paper was bit hard and time is 3 hours. there is no need improvements in admission process

All about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Campus placement is good for those who study ..ans from third year we are eligible..some of our senior also got PPO ..as cgpa also matters ..but not for every .. companies visited here is microsoft ,paypal ,uber, jp morgon and many more

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
