Course Curriculum Overview

In first year, the course curriculum is designed such that students of all branches study the same concepts and explore different fields of different branches and and afterwards. Second year, the courses curriculum focuse on there course. So in earlier stage you might have to see and learn different subjects even if you don't like them or if you like them.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 136000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are average internship opportunities for example in 2022 microsoft gave 12 students an internship of 80000 rupees per month and also amazon so yes there are opportunities but you will have to work hard for it

Placement Experience

Placements are really good if you compare with private colleges afterall it's an NIT but here the avg is aroung 12 lpa for cse ece branches it's around 16-17 for textile it's around 7-8 lpa. Considering the opportunities we get here it is overall good but you still have to work hard cause always some students are left unemployed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee structure ISIS comparatively cheaper.Considering it with private colleges it might be higher than a few NITs but overall it's decent and there are a lot of scholarships available and financial assitance too to the needy people. There are restaurants in campus but I haven't see campus employement opportunities yet.

Campus Life

A lot of fests happen in NITJ and the mojor cultural fest going on is UTKANSH that happens in March. Techniti and Bharat dhwani are also our technical and cultural fests a lot of hackathons are going on like Hackmol 5.0 and more. The infrastructure is good

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are okay 4 people stay in room initially it was not much fun but when you are new you need people to talk and make new friends so overall i am Enjoying my hostel life but yeah in order if i arrange hostels of first year then BH1>BH2>BH5

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Forgetting admission into this college. I had to take the JEE MAINS examination. After that, the JOSAA and CSAB counselling started In which student who all were scoring good percentile were eligible And based on the ranks they were given their branches

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
