Even though it is very far, sandwiched between Bangladesh it is very good in terms of infra, placements. Vast lush green campus with good commuting facilities.TSR 10th battalion situated beside adds more beauty to the campus. Sports facilities are excellent. It turned me into a good athlete.

9:30-5:00 is the daily curriculum. Sat, Sun is off. The second half of the day mostly consists of laboratory sessions. Library hours, sports, yoga periods do take place. Everyone has the same subjects in first year irrespective of their departments.

In academic year 2017-18 85-90% placemnts happened in ECE,CSE and overall 60%.Some of them did not wish to appear for placemts ,while some are not eligible.So there is decline in the overall percentage .Minimum eligibility criteria to appear for placement session is 60% with no active backlogs

No tuition fee for students whose family income is less than 1 lakh and also there are numerous scholarships 75000 for students having income greater than 5 lakh. It is solely subjected to the income of one's parents, Hostel fee is 2500 per semester and mess fee is 15000 per semester

Yes, there are 2 banks (sbi, Canara) right in college and they offer interest-free loans, numerous scholarships.

One mid term exam in Sept,feb and end term exam in Dec,may. Mid(30)+end(50)+internals(20)=100 marks. Internals are rewarded by teachers bases on class tests,attendance,submission of assignments etc. Mid term plays a crucial role in judging ones grade.

Appeared for jee main and after qualifying it ,had gone through counselling held by CSAB(presently JOSAA) and alloted seat according to my preference.There are several rounds and fill the choices carefully as it is not editable once the counselling commence.There may or may not be spot round subject to the vacancy of seats.So don't rely on it

As it is far away from the mainland,situated geographically disadvantaged area faculty are mostly from Tripura only. They are not well experienced, equipped. Most of them are alumni of our college only. but the situations now are changing constantly due to the intervention of central government
