Course Curriculum Overview

I rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5. In west bengal very less colleges offer genetics course and between then this college is best . frequency of the exam is pretty good .not that much difficult . Teachers are very supportive.

Class Size: 16Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees - at the time of admission -60000 approx, per semester 35500. And also need to give exam fee charges approximately 1200 per semester.. campus employment is not that much good . It's almost 2 to 3 over 100 students.

Campus Life

Campus is very good. No ragging is there . They conduct one of the best fest called IRIS. library is not accessible directly. But the facilities are good in library.one teacher is there who give all the books you needed. There are different type of clubs for cultural activities. Sports culture is very good in the campus

Admission

Admission process was very smooth. Need to give one exam called CET, which is a very easy exam. I don't like difficultliness of the exam and also the exam paper. It was not directly aligned with any 12th subject

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

I have applied for institute of genetic engineering for the same course BSc genetics but I to admission in Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical sciences because they are the only other colleges in West Bengal who provides BSc genetics as their course and I choose this college because this is under GIS group and this is well known in West Bengal. I did not get any rejection from the other colleges I applied.
