Course Curriculum Overview

The course is okayish , not much tough and then the teachers also teacher good , some are very good , some are normal, some are. Not permanent and the curriculum doesnt prepare fully and so we have to study own .

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 71000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 35500 per semester and then in every year it is 71000 , and this is a course of 3 years so We are taught for 3 years , scholarship is not provided and financial aid is something provided which is svmcm

Campus Life

Overall experience is nice ,i have made alot of friends, and i play a lot of sports mainly football is good , teachers promote us so we have jis spirit and jod singh and we participate there. All students are athletic .

Admission

The admission process was minimal, first we have to go to the college and appear for a exam , which is not even mandatory and then i dont know exactly if there is any reservations, exams are 4+ 1 per semester

1.The faculties of modern physics and computational physics were exceptional and in my opinion the best in the city. 2.Since i was more inclined towards modern physics i chose this particular college. 3.The curriculam prepares the students for higher studies like masters and doctorate. 4.The frequency and timing of exam coincided with calcutta university. 5.Areas of improvement-Better Equipment for Optics lab and more digital equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.

Students who sit for placements mostly get placed in Finance and Analytics companies, typically in Business Analyst, Risk Analyst and other roles. I have applied for institute of genetic engineering for the same course BSc genetics but I to admission in Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical sciences because they are the only other colleges in West Bengal who provides BSc genetics as their course and I choose this college because this is under GIS group and this is well known in West Bengal.
