the campus life is vey nice, there are no restrictions
the campus placements are quiet impressive
the hostel life is very different and exciting

Dislikes

the class timmings, classes from 8 am to 5 pm
the washroom facility inside the hostels
the attendence policy of the college is 75 percent

Course Curriculum Overview

the course is very precise and a student who opts it has a bright future . as metallurgy has a demand inn the foreign companies you can surely opt it. the mid term exams are held after 1 month and the end term exas are held at the end of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

a lot of companies come for campus internship and provide internship opportunities. the companies hire for every role like web development, design, software development , business analyst, product manager ,etc.

Placement Experience

the placement percentage is quiet impressive. a lot of companies come into the campus to hire students. fi there is no campus placement then the student can try off campus placement or he or she can go abroad for higher studies and can then opt for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

the course has fees of 1.5 lakhs per semester for general and obc category and about 34k for sc/st. there is a chance for scholarship whwich is 10k per year. and if needed you can take educational loan. there are campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

the college has a lush green campus so the campus life is amazing. there are a number of clubs in which you can get recruited according to your interest. there are many sports and gymm facilities inside the campus.

Hostel Facilities

for first year there are triple sharing rooms , for second year there are double sharing rooms whereas for third and forth year students there are single rooms. the rooms have light and fans. there are common washrooms for students. the mess is close to the rooms and the food served is average.

Hostel Fee: INR 34000 per year

Admission

you have to clear jee advance to be eligible for this course. after you clear the jee advance exam you have to fill the josaa form where your id is verified and you can fill the required choices of the college and the branch. reservation gives you a benifit during admission.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
