The seniors are very helpful if you need any help they will always be there.
You can have a great alumni network which can help you in further life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is research based so phd is required for that and also in foreign countries material science has demand.The course is perfect but I would rather say we should have interest based course even in a particular branch.

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is about ?100000 and the complete cost for 1 semester would be 1.5 lacs and there are a lot of scholarships available and you can easily get them.The employment opportunities of IIT's are way better than any other college.

Campus Life

Annual tech fest is thomso and cultural fest is cognizance . Campus life is amazing lot of interesting seniors, professors and alumnus are there. The library has a vast stock of books and journals. The sports facilities are too good we even won inter IIT last year. There arw so many clubs and any student can explore their interest.

Admission

Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.The cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.I didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
