A Journey Through NIT Jalandhar

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, I want to study master so I opted this course . The curriculum prepares us well and the college help us to opt and gain knowledge which can be useful to tackle problems . They conduct quizes for 15 marks which is given as internal marks to many students in other colleges means they get 20/20 by doing assignments but in this college they conduct 4 quizes in which 3 are considered but this system is not so good for getting good grades

Internships like Oracle , microsoft and so on are available in the college .they are given in 3 Rd year starting sem and many of the students get the internships and some who didn't get internship get mini projects which help in building up resume and knowledge regarding the course

The Placements of our College are good .from 6 th sem we can start applying for internships . Campus placement start in 4 th year . So many companies give offers and highest package is 1.3 crores like that . Percentage of students getting placement is like 97 and chance of girls for placement is more as there are only some girls students present in the cse group every year

For general students the fee for course is around 80k and hostel fees is around 25k and for reservation and PWD students the hostel and course fees is 25.5k .here we can apply for scholarships even they suggest the details about scholarships to the students who are eligible.

The overall experience is good , there are so many clubs in college . We can join whatever we want . Fest like utkansh are celebrated well in college . Many students even run social groups , clubs and they guide college students even and we can use them in resume for interviews . We can say that we are member of this clubs and like that

The admission process was good and we can application form , application fees and application dates at nitj website in Google.The frequency and timing of exams is some what average because before the exams there will be some kind of fests like utkansh and techniti because of which we can't prepare well for exams . And some more centres should given at the time of physical verification and admission because of which there will be no rush
