What Students Say

Likes

The faculty was excellent. The classes were taken on time and the notes were well maintained.
The unit tests were taken in a proper manner which helped in the end semester examinations.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could have been better. Construction in the college was a bit disturbing thing.
More subjects could have been available in the Generic Elective course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum had some application based and practical subjects as well which are useful in case someone wants to pursue further education or for getting a relevant job. Class tests were taken frequently to see the preparation of students. Tutorial sessions were also taken atleast once in a week for clearing the extra doubts.

Internships Opportunities

The number of internships offered were quite low in number. Internships were offered with the companies like Sirona, BajaCapital, Upraised, Agile and many more. The DRC placement cell was active in the process of providing internships to the students.

Placement Experience

The students in the last semester were eligible for the placements. Various companied like KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture visited the campus offering the average package of 6.5 LPA. On average, 100 students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Workshops or seminars took place regularly so that the students could be guided about the career opportunities that they can choose after the graduation. The fee was affordable and the students from economically weaker background were given further relaxation.

Campus Life

The infrastructure was not upto the mark but constant improvements were observed in the same. The library was well maintained with proper space. A seperate Girls common room was also present in the college. The size of rooms varied depending on their usage.

Admission

Admission were based on class 12th percentage of best 4 subjects in which English was compulsory to be included in the calculation of the percentage. The application forms were available on Delhi University wesite only. The cutoffs were released according to the schedule shared by DU in their admission notice/ brochure.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

Difficulty level is moderate of our exams but there was an irregularlity irresponsible faculty and exam conductor we always get late paper as per exam dates I must say du have to resolve these problems.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. Good internship opportunities

The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats.
