Likes

The faculties of ZHDC is awesome and teachers are very supportive
ZHDC infrastructure is best among all DU colleges.
College Canteen is awesome and rates are very pocket friendly for all students.

Dislikes

There are not well maintained classroom.
Playground of ZHDC is very small and not so nice.
Drinking Water facilities are not good in college campus.

I have a huge interest in Bachelor of Commerce (HONOURS COURSE) that's why I am pursuing it from Zakir Hussain Delhi College. When I got admission in DU there was merit based system but now you have to give CUET-UG EXAMINATION to get University of Delhi Colleges.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies who offered internships opportunities In our college like TechMahindra , HDB Financial Services , etc. Stipend: ?10000 to ?25000. Certainly ZHDC has undertaken various impactful projects.

Placement Experience

There is a well developed placement cell in ZHDC which gives 3rd year students many placement opportunities. Some companies are Delloite , HCL , TechMahindra , etc. Last year highest package was 720000 LPA and average was around 320000 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees for 1 year in ZHDC for B.COM (Hons.) is around ?12000 to ?14000. There are many scholarship opportunities for each and every students and OBC , SC , ST candidates get more scholarship opportunities if they score well in academics.

Campus Life

Campus life in ZHDC is awesome, there are many annual fests which mostly occurs in the month of February and March. ZHDC have very well maintained libabry named as Mirza Mehmood beg Library which contained many books , journals and novels.

Admission

Eligibility criteria: Minimum 45% in 12th class + CUET-UG Examination There are some reservations for OBC-NCL , SC , ST candidates. Also you are required to get login in University of Delhi CSAS PORTAL.

Underrated College of DU!

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

A Balanced College Experience with Supportive Faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.
