Coursse curriculum is very good here.... Placement at NIT JALANDHAR OF ECE is also well enought It is 18.75lpa average package Exams are taken twice a semesster The level of exams depend on subject Some subjects are tough and some are easy

Placement of college is not as well this year due to recession CSE IT AND ECE BRANCHES have good average and highest packages Branches like Electrical and ICE also have decent packages Otherwise mechanical and chem have also decent

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is about 180k..for a year If u apply income certificate and if u have less than 5lakh income Then ur fees would be about 1lakh And if your income is less than 1lakh a year Then your fees would be reduced to 30-40k

Campus is not much entertaing as is is a small campus... Fests are organized avery year There are two fests TECHNITI AND UTKANSH classroom facility is good Library is also good Social and cultural clubs are also there

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good acoording to the fees... We have a room with 4 sharing Mess facility is also well but the quality of food is nt good.. but again according to money /fees it is accurate.........

Admission

I got jee rank 33298 in general category I then got admission in Nit jalandhar in ece branch Eligibility was 75% in boards of cbse 12th Admission process was easy but long Process was so long that's why was tiring

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
