Life of a banking technology student in pu

Mba in banking technology is only provided by Pondicherry University. Thats make it less competitive in the job market. University also provides placements. This year placement was very less and other departments can also for the placements provided by banks. This course prepare us specifically for banks thats make the job opportunities less

For our 3rd sem we got the chance to do internship in reputed banks . I did my internship in indian bank which was very good opportunity for me as a banking student. It made me gain knowledge about a working atmosphere in a bank. Stipend was not provided

From 3rd sem we can apply for placements . Already so many banks provided placements. Banks like federal , sib, icici bank already completed their placement program. Federal bank provided the highest package which is more than 70000. Good amount of students are getting jobs through this

Fees is ver high for our course compared to other courses provided by thie university. First sem fee was around 67000. Fees include placement fees and iv . 3rd sem include internship program which was very useful to understand real life working atmosphere. Placements are alo provided by the department. I already participated in one placement

University is so open to different programs and functions. As a football player i got good opportunities to participate in football events that were conducted here as a part of department programs. That gave me chances to meet with people from different departments and good social life in the campus. Our department also conduct bank fest that are informative and knowledgeable

Hostel facilities are good. But at the time of admission it was difficult to get hostel accommodation and we were allotted in dorms . Hostel fee is affordable bur the mess fee which is compulsory to get hostel is bit high compared to the food they provide. One hostel room is alloted for 3 people but the room is supposed to accommodate only 2 people . Facilities are for only two people and they allot it for 3

Admission was through spot. My cuet score was around 110. It was not enough to get admission through allotments. For my course eligibility was graduation in computer application which i had . Pondicherry University has so many mba courses. Most of the seats were filled through spot admission.
