The mba specialised in banking Technology course offered by the pondicherry University is a good course and it's a unique course. Only the pondicherry University have this banking Technology specialisation in India.

Internships Opportunities

I'm from banking Technology department and our department offers internship programms to various banks. I worked as an intern at indian bank aroyankuppam branch. I have done a project during the internship period.

Placement Experience

Students that are pursuing their last semester students can sit for the placements. Placement activities of our department is actually good there are many companies will come for campus recruitments and select students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee amount is 140000 approx for 2 year mba course. Sem zise course structure are 1 st semester 66000 second semester 8000 , third semester 64000 and last semester 8000 this is the fee structure.

Campus Life

Our department have conduct BANKQUEST every year. And many of the departmenta conduct several social programs and other functions. Campus of Pondicherry University is actually good and facilities are also good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good. There in one room for three students and provide 2 fans and 2 cupboards for keep clothes. food from mess is not good. Some of the bad incidents happens to me. They have to improve the food quality.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

Admission process was good. Admission is through on CUET entrance exam. 600 rupees paid for the entrance exam. Reservation is for OBC category. Students must have a minimum of 55 percentage to apply for this course. The entrance exam contains logical reasoning , english, mental ability test type of questions.

Good for study and better than many collages and jNiversity in term of timepass

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement for student as almost 80 to 90 student from 160 students get placement in differently sector fir master of business administration and average placement package is around 6 lakhs .

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of 2nd year (i.e., 3rd semester) students are eligible for getting into placements. Companies such as Federal bank, Thomas Cook, Askan technology are some of the college which has visits till yet and more of them are coming from January. Highest package is 13LPA and it's from banking sector and the average packages are 4-5 LPA. 70% of the students are getting into campus placements.

The good and the bad about Pondicherry University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements in the 4th semester during December when the placement drive starts. Most of the major travel agencies like Thomas cook, make my trip, etc come for the drive. The university boasts about 70% of the students are placed. The package ranges from 3,00,000 to 6,00,000 p.a. the average package is around 3.5 lakhs. My plans are to get placed in a reputed company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was domain to study these subjects. Here professors are not that qualified for this course which is why we are not prepared much. More qualified professors are required for some specific subjects like machine learning, design algorithm,.python etc.

Before the end of third semester the placement cell becomes active and companies start visiting the campus Companies mostly Banking and Sales come for recruitment Last year highest placement was of 13-15L PA After COVID placement has dropped to 40-50% One can go for UGC nET exam before finishing their degree for job and career security.
