Course Curriculum Overview
The courses and course curriculum is relevant to the current industrial requirements. The course curriculum is also updated according to the changing needs and applications in the industry. It also gives you an overview of all the fields you can combine with your major course and can enhance your chances of working in the exact field you want to.
Internships Opportunities
The highest and lowest stipend according to the data is 300000 and 10000 respectively. Microsoft, Amazon, Abode are some companies offering internships. There are capstone projects that one can do during his course till the third year and it'll can fetch you a good intership or student exchange program based on your project and knowledge.
Placement Experience
From third year onwards, students become eligible for on-campus placements. Roughly around 200-300 companies visit the campus every year including companies like Microsoft, Google, Abode, MRPL, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Infosys, etc. Placement percentage is pretty good. And students go for higher studies in most cases for specialization and opportunities. Highest package offered last year was around 50 LPA and average is around 16 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
A part of the fees increases by a very small fraction every year. One part of fees includes the tuition fees and hostel rent and the another part is the mess fees. Hostel and tuition fees is very much affordable for the amenities we get here. Mess fees is slightly higher. There are many scholarships for different years of your course. Elections take place for the roles like General Maintenance Councillor and Mess Councillor.
Campus Life
There's a beach, two tennis courts, nine badminton courts, a gym, billiards room, table tennis, yoga, football, cricket grounds, athletic ground, rock climbing for NCC cadets and a swimming pool which will be ready by the end of 2024. Also there are many technical and interest oriented extracurricular activity clubs
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room we get has a bed, a cupboard, a bookshelf, a table and a chair. The rooms are well ventilated. Rooms are cleaned twice or thrice a week. Mess food is not that bad. And you should complain to the warden if you feel like something needs to be changed, without any hesitation. Hostels are affordable and the registration process takes place on the day of physical verification itself.
Admission
Admission process is very easy. You just have to follow the dates given. One important thing to remember is that you should be ready will all the required documents before the final online registrations begin.
