Tuition fees is around 45000/semester Complete cost of btech for 4 years goes upto 4-4.5 lakhs Different scholarships are available like SVMCM, kanyashri, nsvp I'm in 2nd year so no scope of employment right now. But yes campus provides employment opportunities

Annual fest is named as Elixir And tech fest is tech storm which is going to be held next month Library has a vast variety of books Classrooms have projectors and computer systems Sports also takes place once in a semester Social groups and many forums are present in college

Admission

Eligibility was 10+2 Appeared Wbjee entrance test and on the basis of ranking got the college Application process was to fill the form for Wbjee entrance and then after appearing the exam cutoff was cleared was then after choice filling process allotment was done. It is held once a year Improvement can be done by spreading proper awareness of choice filling because many students don't know how to fill the choices and end up getting lower colleges even when they have a good rank.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
