Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very informative as well as vast. I found it to be interesting because of interest in that field. The curriculum is well designed and structured. I want to mention that the course structure is bit of old school which now has been updated.

Class Size: 174Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For general without EWS candidate the fees per semester including residence results to approx 1.5 lakh. But there are several scholarships offered by college ,alumni etc. Education loan can be easily availed.

Campus Life

Coming to campus life it is very joyful. There are many activities which are organised on regular intervals like nukkad natak, summits, technical fest, cultural fest. There are approx 25 clubs in college which you regularly organises the guest lecture and other activities as well.

Admission

JEE mains and further Jee advance is conducted by govt agency which is considered as one of the toughest engineering exam across world. After fulfilling the criteria you are eligible to sit for counselling where you priorities the colleges and in several rounds of counselling you will get appropriate college

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
