minimum 75% of attendance is mandatory for all students
only high cgpa matters students are running forgetting cgpa
college does not help you in getting internships abroad

I choose cse because of my parents average faculty and student ratio is 1:5 we have lalatendu remove him as a cp faculty the teaching method is very average no one has good vocabulary so this is also a thing Exams were too fast

for 7 th semester students are eligible for campus placements. companies like wipro,ibm,amazon,flipkart etc will come for placements. average packages will be 5 LPA. 60 % of students are getting placements

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure depends on category. there will be no tuition fee for resevation students. if there is any reservation ,25000/- . there are scholarships like NSP,FFE,ONGC, etc. it will cost 100000 per year to study

Campus Life

the annual cultural fest utkansh which attracts thousand sof students across the country to participate in the days comprizing of seminars, and workshops. since its inception in 2006,this festival has been identified as a convergence of cultures and a confluence a best talents across the country.

Admission

Good it was a excellent admission process i have an sc reservation and i got seat in nit jalandhar in cse branch The college is good but exams are getting too fast i should stop that keeping exams fastly

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.

Life at NIT Jalandhar : A comprehensive student perspective

I applied to several institutions including NIT Jalandhar, NIT Srinagar and UIET Hoshiarpur And Pec Chandigarh But choose NIT Jalandhar due to its robust placement record well recognised NIT brand and strong industry connections. NIT Jalandhar offers better infrastructure, facility expertise and peer environment compared to other options I had while I got confirmed admissions from uiet Hoshiarpur and nit Jalandhar my preference for a national level campus experience and comprehensive curriculum lead me here. My JEE main rank mit nit Jalandhar's cutoff whereas I couldn't qualify for top iits due to higher cut off the admission process is straightforward students must clear JEE main participate in Jossa counselling and meet annual cut offs .The eligibility is 75% in class 12th And a valid JEE main score. Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
