Course Curriculum Overview
As this is girls college and Among the top college to DU,I choose to take admission there . Faculty student ratio is about 1:15. All the faculties are PhD qualified and got their phD degree from top universities of INDIA. You have to give exams 2 times in a year at the end of every semester.
Internships Opportunities
Miranda house provide interships opportunities every year. INSPIRE internship programme is organised by DS Kothari Centre for research and innovation in science . You can fulfill your project requirement by doing these intership and gets the 20,000 money by applying in INSPIRE SCHOLARSHIP.
Placement Experience
Last year students are eligible for placement. Some of the companies are DE Shaw ,Nation with Namo and Accenture . Upto 90% of students gets placed every year. Not every student want a placement as some of them pursuade higher studies in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is affordable and if you scored good percentage in your 12% class you can get the inspire scholarship also if you are a science student which is 60,000 per year and is you are doing a project then 80,000 per year
Campus Life
Life at Miranda house is amazing .Living in Miranda is like it is your second home . Tempest- annual cultural fest of Miranda which always happens in the month of April where big celebrities comes every year to show there talent . Talking of extra curricular Miranda is always ahead in every activity.It have many dance societies mridang and tanz. Art society and Hindi singing societies are also show their talents evey year in different fests.
Hostel Facilities
Miranda house hostel is one of beautiful hostels of Delhi University as it have beautiful rooms and corridors. You have kitchen where you can fulfill your midnight cravings by making your favourite food or masala Maggi . Room size is very big and your have beautiful furniture in your room . Miranda house hostel mess is so beautiful and asthetic and when you enter there for the first time it looks like palace. Getting such beautiful hostel in very low fees is amazing. Also it have a beautiful lawns which is filled with beautiful flowers where you can sit in the evening or night . Miranda house is where you can find cats and be friends with them
Admission
You have to give DUET exam to get admission in this College.As Miranda is among the topmost colleges of Delhi University and it is a Girls college so chances of your admission in this college is 2 to 5%. Cut off is little low for reserved categories SC,OBC and ST.
