Course Curriculum Overview

Firstly about faculty members, I'd say the staff is very patient and helpful. The treat you very nicely and clear all of your queries. And about curriculum, it's also good , like the professors explain and teach very well and provide a gppd understanding of our curriculum.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is good too. The college also provides scholarship programmes and other stuff like that. it's also helpful with financial assistance and campus jobs etc. overall fees structure is fine.

Campus Life

The campus is huge and it has 2 buildings. It has canteen,library, multimedia, labs and many other rooms and classrooms. It also has a ground and a stages and an auditorium where fests programme and other events take place .

Admission

The admission process was kind of hectic, like I'd suggest to be aware about the applying dates and filling admission forms on time. But the college staff was very helpful with providing information to us. Everything was available at college portal. Overall the admission process was frustrating but it was really worth putting efforts for admission in MCM DAV

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .

MCM MY DREAM COLLEGE

The reputation and ranking of MCM is really nice in north india and specially in tricity! PGGC SECTOR 11 & 42 these are also good but they have a very large crowd of students women like kangana raunaut and yami are also a student of this college giving it a extra bollywood vibe!
