College campus is so beautiful and lot's have options to eat.
From 3rd year you have freedom to leave and entry in college as per your wish
Seniors are helpful and will guide you .

Dislikes

Professors will no help you for your placements
Lots of classes and labs and very few holidays
You have to pay hostel fees either you stay or not

Course Curriculum Overview

Ranks alots you your college and course Faculty student ratio is good but your main study will be through online articles and PDFs rather than college classes. Every proffs had atleast PhD with min 7 years teaching experience then they can apply for proffs. 3 terms exam 1.CA 2. Mid term and last end term. In first two questions are easy but in end term questions level increases

Internships Opportunities

Many companies will offer you packages but you have to skill enough to get those. Maintain your CGPA to clear the cut off. 7.5 to 8 will be good. Work on DSA, SQL and Machine learning and Artificial intelligence

Placement Experience

Internships are less but placements are good. From 5th sem you are eligible for internships but from 7th you are eligible for placements . I can't tell the name of each company but you have lots of companies to choose but maintain your CGPA Highest 70 lakh per annum and average 13.6 lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year hostel fees increases but semester fees increases in every 3 years Lots of scholarships are there but you have to aware about that no one will inform you about any scholarships. SC, st, girls and any disabled person hast their separate scholarships

Campus Life

Restesy, Aarohan, Food Festival, cultural festival, technical festival others are fest are going on There are lots of clubs like CCA, MNTC, MUSIC CLUB, DANCE CLUB and SAE, EDC , ENTERACT, NCC, PRAKRITI, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Good food with wifi connectivity. You have to take a room in hostel and pay the fees . Hostel registration once a year and each year you have allotted different hostels and for 3rd year and 4th year they different hostels. Adfh ghuj huuuj hhujj gyuuj

About Eligibility it's about your All India rank in jee mains to clear the cut off of preferred subject course You have to fill up jer mains form from NTA Reservation available. In jossa your reserved category rank matters According to your preferences they slots colleges you don't have options to choose between same preferences

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

From 6th semester students become eligible to for campus placements(internships as well as full time offer). 105 companies visited in 2025 and many package offered by them based on student's skill. highest palcement : 45 LPA offered by amazon. Percentage of students getting placemnets : 86%. After getting the degree my plan is to take a decent job and to be finanancially stable.

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied for multiple NITs During Josaa Counselling but my top 5 suitable choice according to my home location and considering other limiting factors was NIT Rourkela, NIT Silchar, NIT Durgapur, NIT Patna and IIEST Shibpur. Apart from these, I have also Applied for Calcutta University and Jadavpur University. I have got approval from NIT DGP,Calcutta University and Jadavpur University. But I have chosen NIT because of better Placement records and better campus Life. Moreover it's an Institution of of National Importance and Hold a good NIRF rank. So I preferred this choice above others. I wasn't rejected from the above colleges, but simply i didn't get the eligible rank for them. And the 3 which I got, i choosed the best among them. The Admission process of NIT DGP was through Josaa and CSAB counselling. The College and the Branch will be alloted to you according to your rank in the JEE MAINS Examination. The Closing rank of this exam in 2025 of General Category for the lowest Branch in BTech is 63387. The overall admission process for the college, apart from hostel allotment, was completely online. 14-15 documents were to be submitted in pdf format in the specific website provided. I was getting all nits of india and also some iits.The only reasons of not choosing them is branch ,i was getting lower branches in all other colleges so i choose this. I think this was the best college onmy rank. NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for. So the admission process is simple.You need to crack Jee Mains with a great rank to reach here.There after you need to go through the Jossa counselling and if you get a seat here you need to confirm and pay initially some fees to get a seat in this college.The overall admission experience was very much smooth because of the whole process being shifted to online and thus students do not have much difficulty....Read More
