Studying in final year, i can proudly say that the course curriculum is not relevant to the work in a comapny whether its electronics or Mechanical. Course curriculum is not good even its too lengthy and without any means students are pressurise to complete it. Teaching method is too bad of some of the professors. I learned time waste from my professors. Some of the teacher are very bad at teaching. They should provide some papers, ppt and some parts of it but they don't speak in class they even don't provide ppts, they write on the blackboard and the whole class copy from that. it is not a good way to teach i think. for final year student they do the same.

Course curriculum more or less design with indusrial need, but practical approach is not so good here.In practical only experiments done it's enough no matter what is the results and procedure. Yes all teachers are not like that but most of doing like that only. Exams are held regularly within 2 months gap, sometimes internal exams are also held.

I got Metallurgy and Materials Engineering in josaa with my rank.At first year we are taught of everything basics like in class 12th. The curriculum gives us a basic idea about what is engineering and what are its real life applications. The course curriculum is very helpful for every engineering students. It also relates with my branch too.The course is not so difficult just some basics.

I chosed this course as i found it quite interesting with decent career oppurtunity. The course curriculum includes Manufacturing Process, Iron Making, Steel Making, Heat Treatment, Plastic Deformation & Material Science. The faculty members in the course are well qualified with prestigious UG & PG Degrees. We have faculty:student ratio of 1:4 i.e quite well. Faculties have interactive teaching method covering theoritical as well as practical. We usually have a mid term exam and an end term exam in a semester. The standard of exam was quite difficult and its not easy to pass.

I personally didn't choosed this course as in this marks i was availing this course only from my nearby institute. ratio is nearby 1:21. Faculty is very good. They have very good practical knowledge about the domain part and explains all the stuff practically. Qualification is also sufficient enough to fulfil our knowledge. The examination timing is well. They provide sufficient time to grasp.

1.I choosed the metallurgical and materials Engineering Department in Nit DGP. I interested in study the concept of metals and its properties because its use in real world for building infrastructure and its very important to development for technology. 2. Faculty are very good with behavior and knowledge in their specific field. Ratio for faculty to student in the college is 1:21. 3. Faculty qualification is Nit/iit PHD and many of also from took degree from foreign institution.
