Likes

I like the fees payment. You will pay the fees of every semester when you will want to pay .
There are no problem in attendance but sometimes you need to go because of some teacher

Dislikes

The placement are not as good as before. Before COVID 19 there are about 90% students are placed
The college building is not so good. There are only two building and the distance of the building is around 1km

In this college faculty members are good. I selecte this course because of the placement. In this time technology is developed very fast so you will survive your job through this course. In every semester there are CA/ internal papers are there and one final semester exam and there the question are moderate if you study 2 month properly you will pass

From 5 th semester you will eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like TCS, INFOSYS,TECH MAHINDRA, COGNIZANT etc. But from the COVID 19 placement are little poor. The highest package of the previous year is 9LPA and the avarage package of the college 4 LPA. About 60-70% students are placed every year after COVID 19 but before COVID 19 there are better placement.My aim is to get a placement and grow up.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college TFW quotha is available if your rank is match to TFW quotha then you are definately apply this. Then your full b.tech course will complete around 1.5 lakh. And in each semester you have to pay semester fees. There are SVMCM scholarship is there for West Bengal students.

Campus Life

The annual fest and tech feast are in the month of July. There are many books available in the library. The class room is capacity of 60 students. There are annual sports like cricket and football volleyball tug of war etc.

Admission

It is a btech course and you will admission here through WBJEE or JEE main. In this college has TFW quotha there your total fees of btech course is around 1.5 lakh. You will find the application form through the official website of WBJEE and JEE main

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .
