Likes

Campus life is great here with many Tech and Non Tech events
Various social clubs with creative thoughts and ideas for project
Great exposure to the inter college tech events and also no much pressure for attendance

Dislikes

Placement percentage is very low and no mass recruitment take place
Some faculties are too bad and too many subjects and fees structure is very high

Course Curriculum Overview

I was passionate for CSE from my class 5 onwards so I took this course. Faculty student ratio is bit low . Unfortunately all are qualified but not well trained for teaching. Exams are conducted after every 4 months approx and exams are difficult to crack .

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 158000 per year

Placement Experience

Unfortunately placement record is not upto the mark as expected. From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placement. Till now 40-50% students are placed. TCS Wipro Accenture Microsoft visit our campus for recruitment.

Fees and Financial Aid

A very high fees is charged to students and it becomes very difficult to afford after some time. No financial support is provided by college. Svmcm scholarship is only provided by government of West Bengal.

Campus Life

College conducts multiple events very frequently to keep students engaged in various tech and non tech events. We have a vast library with almost all departmental books and journals. Inter college sports and gaming is conducted for students

Admission

Hs 50% minimum and Jee / Wbjee ranking basis admission is done.Tijee exam is also conducted for admission into any engineering department. Application details are all available in the website portal. Reservation benefits are given to sc/St/OBC candidates.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.
