Course Curriculum Overview

3

i chose this course for a good exposure in computer science and with this the knowledge of other courses that we have in our college. student to faculty ratio is good. faculty are highly qualified phd holders from prominent institutes like iit. we have semester exams that are held in the end of the semester . Not that much difficult you can manage to score good marks just one day before exam.

Placement Experience

1

you are eligible for placement in your last year. various companies like Bain , PWC , Deloitee etc. visits on campus for business roles . average package is 11.12lakhs and highest is 44 lakhs. percentage of students getting placed in computer science is very low maybe 2 to 5 as only roles that come oncampus are business or fianance.you can either pursure MCA or MSC or MBA after this course or your can prepare for any government exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is affordable approx 26k rupees for bsc Computer science and there are plenty of opportunites but only for other courses like BMS and BFIA . BSc graduates dont get any placement in their domain mostly they get placement in business domain after preparing for that on their own.

Campus Life

2.5

we have crescendo as our annual fest and that is the not the only time when we enjoy we have various events thorughout the year be it from CCL to hackCBS . the library is well equiped with books and will strict rules which you have to ahere otherwise fines are way too much. classes and the college infrastructure is far from good from other colleges of DU . We have fully Centralized AC . sports is on your own take the equipement from your id and play . we have various societies in our college from every domain be it fashion (vistas) to computer science ( kronos).

Admission

During my time we had merit based admission so i got here throught my class 12 percentage .you have to be 12th pass with any stream and have appeared for CUET . the cutoff during my time was initially very high approx 97 to 100%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
