Course Curriculum Overview
Financial Investment Analysis is obviously one of the most important subjects today and our college has affiliation with DU. Thus our cours is something that even if we don't pursue MBA, we will still be as good an alaysst which industry wants.
Internships Opportunities
HDFC Bank, Indusind Bank and other banks and financial institutions which are into financial markets or mutual funds are the ones which gave us internships soon after we joined the college. Luckily we were porvided offline intenrship so we could attend college and do our internships at the same time.
Placement Experience
Our college has training program and from second year onwards we have to get on with it. Under training program we are also provides internships and all through that. Placements at our college are really good as firstly the strength is less and therefore maximum students get campus placements from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The average fees for cbs is around 26k yearly, 28k for first year and around 25k for next two years. Since, it's a delhi government funded college so the fees students pay is definitely a lot less than the services provided by the college be it seminar halls, classrooms ,all with centralised ac system . The fees is same for all categories. There isn't any particular scholarship program but for ews students there are some schemes like relaxation in fees and getting an extra book issued by library.
Campus Life
Our campus may not be quite big but we have tall buildings where classes are held and then one admin building is also there and hostels too are inside the campus. Our cultural fest is also hosted at our campus during April, every year.
Admission
Admission process of SSCBS is through UG CET. Most colleges in DU offers this course and as per score we are alloted the seats. I wish I could have had an even higher ranked colleges but for business studies SSCBS is one of the best in Delhi.
Faculty
SSCBS faculties are from background as rich as Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, NMIMS, and even some are from IIM Background as well. It's a lovely college and the reason why it is, is because it has lovely faculties as well.
Night Life
There are plenty of options as firstly until the college gets over I hardly leave the campus as hanging out with friends in library and college canteen is my favourite time pass. Also, when feel like having some fees, Maggie Point close to campus and Raha Bhaiya Tea are my go to places.
